On 06.11.2025, the 46th edition of MAKINOVA and the 23rd edition of ECONOVA – the most significant events for innovation and eco-projects in Macedonia, organized by SPATUM and Narodna tehnika – were held in “Kiro Spandzov Brko” Secondary School – Kavadarci. This year, 159 participants took part, including 140 students from the country and 19 representatives from the region, ie from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Bulgaria.

The patron of the event was the President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova. The participants presented their innovations, inventions, patents, research and innovative projects and products in front of an Evaluation Committee which was composed of members from Ministries and institutions and a member from neighboring countries. The exhibitions were also visited by the Minister of Education and Science of the Youth, Vesna Janevska, with an address to all present with support for everyone to continue with their innovations and inventions.

And this year “Berin” supported the event and awarded its traditional awards to the most successful young innovators of Makinova and Econova. Jury committee member Vancho Damjanski presented the awards for two projects “Plasma arc generator controlled by a robotic arm” to Angel Rizov and Angela Boshkova from Kavadarci and “Blonde grass psoriasis cream” to Ana Korchovska from Berovo.

This year’s young inventors showed exceptional creativity and innovative spirit. We hope that our support and awards will serve as an incentive and motivation for them to develop and implement their ideas in the future.
